Brownie came to Safe Haven as a young kitten. She lost her sight due to a rare adverse reaction to the tranquilizer used during her spay procedure. Everyone was devastated over this, and thought that Brownie would be with us for a very long time. Not so! Along came one of our wonderful cattery cleaner volunteers and, after caring for Brownie for a time, she felt she could provide a loving home for a special needs kitten. They are now enjoying each other’s company.
