Safe Haven Animal Sanctuary has been going strong as a volunteer organization since 1996 with the mission of sheltering and adopting out dogs and cats in need of some loving care. If you have an interest in helping SHAS, we have a job for you! Become a dog walker, cattery cleaner, pet socializer or an adoption counselor. Help maintain the sanctuary buildings and grounds. Foster a pet in your home. Join our thrift store team as a salesperson, merchandise sorter or pricer. Inform the public at SHAS information booths at festivals and other local venues. Lend your expertise as a writer, photographer, event planner, fund raiser, board member, or choose from other essential volunteer jobs. Questions about volunteering?
